The park is covered with dense forest, riverine forest, and grassland; provides excellent habitat for endangered animals like Rhinoceros, wild Elephant, Bengal Tiger, Swamp deer, Black Buck, Gharial Crocodile and Dolphins. More than 200 species of birds, Snakes and many other mammals also make their habitat.
The National Park provides a wonderful wilderness experience. Unique flora-fauna, landscape, vegetations and indigenous culture of Buffer Zone communities are great attraction for the visitors. A trip to the park would be more excellent with the combination with a trek to Dolpo or Rara lake region or a short Rafting trip down to Karnali River.

Langtang trekking is the nearest trekking region from capital Kathmandu in the north central Nepal bordering with Tibetan terrain. Name of the region given after Mt. In Nepal Tourism is the largest industry , and the largest source of foreign exchange and revenue. There is Hindu and Buddhist heritage of Nepal, and its cold weather which are also strong attractions.
Nepal is the country of the Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world, is located.
