Travel to Basantapur Darbar Square at Kathmandu
The basantapur darbar square is at the heart of kathmandu city. It is the first choice for sight seeing in Kathmandu. The UNESCO list it as a world heritage site. It is an outstanding example of a type of building, architectural, or technological ensemble or landscape which illustrates a significant stage in human history. It is also called kathmandu darbar square from where the malla and shah king ruled over the city. The square surrounds quadrangles revealing courtyards and temples. The square is presently known as Hanuman Dhoka, a name derived from the statue of Hanuman.
